Olivia Westervelt

With my upbringing in Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University, I have been fortunate enough to have had a deep connection with nature and the ocean throughout my life. Through my artistic journey I have explored concepts around emotional wounds, lightness, and transformation through connecting with our inner child. I have a yearning to educate people about how our daily habits, consumptions, environments, and past experiences affect who we are and how we think in this very moment, all down to a cellular level. We live in a world where things become so mundanely habitual, like the toxic things we wear, products we use, processed foods with hidden refined sugars we eat, the polluted air we breathe in, and normalizing the loud sounds and pain trapped inside our minds, bodies, and spirits. Combining my passion and love for discovering the vast intricacies of our health, wellness, mind, body, and spirituality I use art as an avenue to lovingly express my research on our physical and mental beings into expressions of healing and self-discovery. I explore the concept of our oneness with nature and all beings and how our connection to it is the route to living peaceful, fulfilling, and energized lives filled with gratitude, longevity, and clarity.
